The Admissions Journey
1. Initial Connection & Discovery
The First Step: Start by calling the admissions team or filling out a website form to get your preliminary questions answered.
Campus Tour: You are encouraged to schedule a tour to see "Academy 21" students in action and get a feel for the daily campus culture.
2. Leadership Consultation
Meet the Head of School: If the school feels like a potential match, you’ll have a formal meeting with the Head of School.
The Goal: This is a deep dive into your family’s specific educational goals and why you are seeking a 21st-century learning environment.
3. Evaluation Phase
Assessment Test: Your child will undergo a standard assessment to determine their current academic standing.
Student Project: Beyond just a test, the child completes a "Student Project," which likely evaluates their creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning style.
4. Formal Enrollment
The Decision: Once both the family and the Head of School agree the Academy is the right fit, the official enrollment paperwork and onboarding begin.

March 2026
As parents, it's only natural that we would give our kids as much of an edge as we can monetarily provide to prepare them for the future. At A21, without a doubt, I believe my child is getting that and more! At Academy, I know my child is not just a number. Initially, the selling point for enrolling my child there was the small classroom sizes. I knew my kid would get the personalized attention needed to help him grow, and learn without the interruptions and distractions that come in bigger classrooms. That was just the beginning. I wasn't aware that my child would be exposed to a strong STEM focused curriculum. I am blown away that at such a young age, he is already being exposed to coding, Mandarin, Spanish, engineering, and entrepreneurship. After school, my child has also participated in activities such as chess and robotics. I've personally gotten to know the teachers and staff that spend countless hours with my child and I couldn't be more thankful. The passion and dedication they have for the kids that attend is palpable. The truth is, I could go on and on with how grateful I am for this school but I'm running out of space. I close by saying this, my child LOVES going to school! That's probably the biggest win of all!
— Academy 21 FamilyMarch 2026
Our family has had three children attend the Academy of 21st Century Learning over several years, so we’ve experienced the school from many angles. Overall, our experience has been very positive. One of the greatest strengths of the school is the small environment and the level of individual attention students receive. The teachers truly know the students and can challenge and support them academically while also helping them grow in confidence and independence. The STEM emphasis has been especially valuable—our children developed strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity that have served them well beyond the classroom. Two of our children have since transitioned to private high schools and were well prepared academically for that step. The foundation they received here helped them integrate successfully and continue to thrive. Just as important, the leadership and teachers care deeply about the students and the community. In our experience, communication with the administration has been open and thoughtful, and concerns are taken seriously. Like any school community, there are occasional challenges, but we have consistently seen a group of educators who are committed to supporting students and maintaining a positive learning environment. We’re grateful our children had the opportunity to be part of this school and would recommend it to families looking for a small, supportive setting with strong academics.
